Different Style Bridesmaid Dress

Sure, the bridesmaids are your friends and you feel like you should let them choose their own style so that they don't look like drones. It is alright until you realize that some of them are going to wear gowns of different length - now what to do?

It's better that the gowns would have same length since the ones who don't will stick up like sore thumb. They agree to wear the same colour of gown, but understand that some styles would not look as good in certain materials and colors, sometimes even length.

Either you let them choose their own style of gowns as long as it is the same length and colour so that way they don't look like drones, or you will simply tell them "well it's my wedding and I want you to wear this!" The bride's prerogative? Yes it is. Friends forever? This is where you should consider telling them your considerations (reasons, fear etc) in the best way to make them understand so that you can still have them as friends after the wedding.
